Overseeing various departments (Project Management, Design, Architecture, Production, etc.) within a large organization requires the proper software
to keep track of daily issues and resource alloaction. Through the usage of Atlassian's JIRA software, a real-time time tracking system was put into place
to connect project managers in the U.S. with resources offshore in Delhi, India and elsewhere throughout the country. Spearheading the initiative, I was tasked to create
various workflow solutions for different groups, which increased overall productivity and monthly reporting for senior management.
Throughout the 4 years the system has been in place at VNU eMedia (now Nielsen Business Media), the multi-functional platform has been expanded for usage for other areas including Ad Operations, Search Engine Optimization and Editorial Training Functions. The consolidated reporting features create an endless supply of data for any organization to achieve seamless business processes. |
